Mr. Cosio is an accomplished trial lawyer who began his career with Holland & Knight in 1985. He has successfully tried to verdict dozens of civil trials in state and federal courts as well as in domestic and international arbitration proceedings. He is a former president of the Cuban American Bar Association and currently serves as a member of the Hispanic National Bar Foundation and the Orange Bowl Committee.
"Raul has been a steady and dynamic leader at Holland & Knight throughout his career," said Steven Sonberg, managing partner of Holland & Knight. "The firm's Latin America Practice has reached new heights in recent years, and Raul will be instrumental in helping the group integrate and take advantage of new opportunities."
"I'm honored to be working alongside Roberto, a longtime friend who has earned the respect of the team after many years of strong leadership," said Mr. Cosio. "Roberto and I share the same vision, and I hope to become a trusted resource for our attorneys in the future."
