Nelson Mullins announces Harsh Arora Appointed to The Florida Bar’s Judicial Nominating Procedures and Diversity and Inclusion Committees

Harsh Arora, a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, has been re-appointed to serve on the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee and appointed to serve on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of The Florida Bar.

As a member of the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee, Arora will advise judicial nominating commissioners on new or proposed legislation related to the judicial selection process and make suggestions on policies and procedures relating to the judicial nominating process. 

As a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, he will work on DEI initiatives for the bar association, increase leadership roles and involvement for diverse individuals, and make the Florida Bar more accessible to all attorneys. 

Harsh concentrates in the areas of domestic and international corporate transactions and related business dispute resolution. He counsels public and privately held companies as a boardroom advisor and a courtroom advocate in high-stakes corporate matters. The Florida Bar was established in 1907 and consists of more than 111,000 members. The organization is for all lawyers licensed to practice law in the state of Florida that are barred by the Supreme Court of Florida.
