The National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) has named associate Angela Korge to its 2023 Rising List. The annual recognition includes "individuals advancing in their careers, helping others advance in their careers, and/or fighting to advance women under the law."
Based in the Miami Office, Ms. Korge is a member of the Business & Tort Litigation Practice. She represents corporate clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state court litigation and trials in Florida. She advises clients on matters involving contract disputes, fraud, business tort claims, trademark infringement, and real estate issues. Her experience includes all aspects of litigation, including e-discovery, depositions, oral arguments, and trial participation.
Ms. Korge also provides pro bono legal services to individuals and nonprofit organizations. She has obtained asylum for a Honduran national, who is a lifelong activist for LGBTQ rights and a member of the LGBTQ community; asylum for a Russian national who suffered from persecution due to his ethnicity; and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for a minor. She has also represented a nonprofit organization in litigation involving business torts. In 2019, she was named a "Pro Bono Hero" by Americans for Immigrant Justice.
