The Daily Business Review has honored two Morgan Lewis lawyers as part of its 2023 Florida Legal Awards, an annual recognition of standout members of Florida’s legal community. Partner Jennifer Bullock was named a Best Mentor and partner Clay Carlton was named a Lawyer on the Rise.
Having risen through the ranks from associate to partner and with experience in leading Florida’s largest domestic violence center, Jennifer has a unique perspective which positions her as a sought-out mentor to many lawyers, both within Morgan Lewis and outside the firm. A highly regarded litigator who represents national employers at the trial and appellate levels in all types of employment litigation, Jennifer defends clients against whistleblower claims and has negotiated the successful resolution of high-profile claims involving key executives. She also assists clients in developing sexual harassment policies and conducts investigations into reports of sexual harassment in the workplace.
Clay is a distinguished litigator known for his effective and creative advice and litigation strategy, his around-the-clock service, and his commitment to consistently deliver outstanding results. He represents clients in commercial claims relating to business and corporate disputes, including class actions. He also handles matters involving torts, consumer fraud, unfair trade practices, injunctive relief, and product liability claims. While Clay represents clients across various industries, much of his work focuses on banking and financial services.
