Reed Smith makes strong showing in Legal 500 Latin America 2023

The Legal 500 has recognized global law firm Reed Smith for the strength of its international arbitration, project finance and energy capabilities, and endorsed several of its lawyers as top in their fields in Latin America, in 2023 rankings announced

The firm was once again recommended in the Latin America International Firms: International Arbitration category. One client said the Reed Smith practice epitomizes excellence, according to the publication.

International arbitration partner José Astigarraga (“Latin American arbitration pioneer”) was named to the Hall of Fame, and international arbitration partner Cristina Cárdenas (“highly respected”) was named a Leading Lawyer.

Reed Smith was also ranked for Latin America International Firms: Projects and Energy, with the guide noting that the firm has “a rich and varied” practice in Latin America. One client commented about Reed Smith: “Excellent quality and commitment to the client and the operation. Immediate answers and constant and continuous attention. Phenomenal work.”
