Freeborn & Peters LLP continues the expansion of its litigation practice group and Tampa office with the addition of Cade Zimmerman as an associate.
Zimmerman previously served as a law clerk at Freeborn from August 2021 through April 2022, where he assisted with a wide range of matters, such as business disputes involving trade secrets and restrictive covenants, third-party insurance coverage, cybersecurity, and intellectual property
“Cade has been an integral part of the litigation team since serving as a law clerk,” said Lawrence P. Ingram, managing partner of Freeborn’s Tampa office. “We look forward to watching him grow in his legal career and within the firm.”
Zimmerman obtained his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and his law degree from Stetson Law School, graduating magna cum laude. He interned for Michael G. Williamson, chief judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, and assisted in drafting the bankruptcy guide for the Naval Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
