International tax attorney Eduardo "Ed" Arista has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in the Private Wealth Services Group. Mr. Arista brings with him more than 20 years of experience providing proactive tax, corporate and estate planning for domestic and international private clients and closely held businesses. His native Spanish fluency and extensive cross-border experience equip him to work more effectively with his Latin American clients and their local counsel, allowing them to draw on his large and well-established network of foreign professionals throughout the region. He will reside in the firm's Miami office.
As an attorney and Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Arista is also familiar with the most complex international income and estate tax forms and filing requirements. He was the principal of Arista Law & Tax prior to joining Holland & Knight. Earlier in July, Holland & Knight also welcomed tax Partner Logan Gans to its Private Wealth Services Group in Miami.

Mr. Arista earned a J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. degree in accounting at Florida International University, where he taught in the graduate tax program for more than 10 years. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and the District of Columbia.
