TAMPA - A parent is suing a child care facility after their daughter allegedly fell and suffered personal injury.
Jashuna Monroe, as parent and natural guardian for L.G., a minor, filed a lawsuit on Jan. 20 in the Hillsborough County Circuit Court against the Academy of Tampa Bay, Inc. for negligence.
According to the lawsuit, L.G. suffered a fall after her foot became caught inside a tire swing as she attempted to get off the swing on the defendant's premises. Monroe claims the incident was the direct result of negligence by the Defendant.
L.G. was caused to suffer injuries to her face, pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish and loss of capacity to enjoy life, the suit says.
