Woman sues Sherwin-Williams for getting paint in her eyes

ORLANDO -- A woman is suing after paint was allegedly shot into her face and eyes at a Sherwin-Williams store.

Summer Wiggins filed a lawsuit on Jan. 19 in the Orange County Circuit Court against The Sherwin-Williams Company for negligence.

According to the lawsuit, on March 8, 2020, Wiggins was on the premises of a Sherwin-Williams Company store when an employee went to shake a can of paint that did not have the lid secure, causing paint to be projected out onto Wiggins and get in her eyes, nose and hair. 

Wiggins was caused to suffer pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, permanent and significant scarring, mental anguish, loss of the capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment, loss of earning, loss of the ability to earn money, and aggravation of previously existing condition, the suit claims.
