Litigator Rebecca Rodriguez has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as a partner in Fort Lauderdale. She joins from GrayRobinson, where she was a shareholder.
Rodriguez focuses on state and federal litigation, appeals, and general compliance matters for financial institutions and government entities. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in their "Ones to Watch" listing for 2021 & 2022, a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star in Business Litigation from 2017 to 2022, an Up & Comer in Law by South Florida Business & Wealth in 2020, and a Top Up & Comer by South Florida Legal Guide in 2020 & 2021. Rodriguez is a Leadership Council On Legal Diversity 2021 Fellow and currently serves on the board of directors of Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc. as well as the board of directors for Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, Inc. She is a graduate of Leadership Broward Class 39, Leadership Fort Lauderdale Class 22, and Leadership Miami Class 40.

Rodriguez earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2012, her M.S. from Florida International University in 2010, and her B.A. from the University of Florida in 2007.
