Polsinelli Continues Growth in Capital Markets and Commercial Lending, Welcoming Andrew Cromer to Miami Office

Hs

Polsinelli PC issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes seasoned attorney Andrew Cromer as Counsel in the firm’s national Real Estate and Financial Services Practice. He will practice from the firm’s Miami office, which has nearly quadrupled its roster of attorneys since opening in 2019.

Cromer joins Polsinelli drawing from a wide range of legal experience from his diverse practice background, including hospitality and retail, leasing, real estate, intellectual property, employment, and corporate transactions.

“Andrew is an outstanding attorney with broad experience working with clients and as in-house counsel, which will greatly help our growing team,” said Polsinelli Real Estate and Financial Services Department Chair Kraig M. Kohring. “With his unique ability to blend insights from the legal and business worlds, Andrew will bring value perspectives to our Miami office and the national practice teams he will work with.”

Cromer served as the Associate General Counsel for Shake Shack based in New York City, supporting their rapid domestic and international expansion after they went public in 2015. While there, Cromer was responsible for all transactional matters (Supply, Technology, Marketing, Operations, Accounting, etc.) and managed all litigated issues for the brand, including all employment related matters.

“As a Miami native, I’m excited to grow my practice right here in the economic, financial and cultural center of Florida,” said Cromer. “As Miami continues to experience tremendous growth, Polsinelli provides the perfect opportunity at the right time to expand upon my local relationships while drawing from the strengths of a nationally renowned team.”

Cromer is the most recent addition to Polsinelli’s Miami office, which has grown from six to more than 20 attorneys – including newly hired Dora Acherman, Louis D. Rubin, Diana Feng and Brendan M. Studley in Real Estate and Financial Services – since opening its doors just two years ago. The office has represented many of the largest and most prominent developments in Southeast Florida. Recently, Polsinelli signed a 23,671-square foot lease at 315 South Biscayne Boulevard, taking over Related Group’s former riverfront headquarters.

“We’re building something special in our Miami office, and we’re fortunate to be able to add Andrew to the mix and benefit from his experience and local ties,” said Miami Office Managing Partner J. Everett Wilson. “As we continue to see unwavering demand for our services throughout Florida, we’re pleased to be able to meet the growing needs of our clients.”

Born and raised in Miami, Cromer is an alum of Ransom Everglades, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his J.D. from New York Law School. Cromer is admitted to practice law in the states of New York, New Jersey and Florida. Prior to joining Polsinelli, Cromer was a partner at AXS Law Group in Wynwood, and the former Associate General Counsel at Shake Shack in New York City.

Cromer joins Polsinelli’s expanding Real Estate and Financial Services Department, which recently welcomed attorneys Rafael Santos-Hernández and Arielle Frost in New York, Amber L. Munday in Chicago, Lauren E. Hirt in Denver, Bradley E. Wright in Phoenix, Kristian J.F. Bornemann in San Francisco, and Robert J. Bello in the Chicago and Los Angeles offices.
