Hs

Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.

Shana Beldick has been named chief human resources officer (CHRO) of Troutman Pepper effective November 1. Beldick, who most recently served as the firm’s director of human resources and organizational development, has over 20 years of law firm and professional services experience leading, developing, and executing HR strategy.

“Shana is a trusted leader at Troutman Pepper and highly respected both within and outside the firm,” said Tom Cole, managing partner of Troutman Pepper. “Her successful track record and decades of experience in HR leadership at law firms and professional services firms make her the ideal fit for this role.”

As CHRO, Beldick will oversee the firm’s office administration, benefits, HR information systems, and staff professional development teams. She succeeds Mindy Schwartz, who is retiring at year-end.

“I am looking forward to working with senior management to guide the firm’s HR strategy as we continue to grow our national footprint,” Beldick said. “The past two years have presented unique challenges for our industry, but Troutman Pepper and our people have shown great fortitude, and we have emerged a stronger firm with an exciting future.”

Beldick has extensive experience in performance management, career development, employee relations, talent acquisition and development, onboarding, project management, policies and procedures, compensation, benefits administration, and legal compliance. She also is active in her local community, currently serving on the executive board of her synagogue.

Beldick earned her MS in professional counseling from Georgia State University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida.
