Miami partner Jackson Hwu has been selected by Latinvex as among Latin America's “Top 100 Lawyers.” According to the publication, selections are based on attorneys’ recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of the firm in Latin America, and rankings by third parties such as legal rankings organizations Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 and Refinitiv, a provider of financial market data and infrastructure.
Hwu co-chairs the firm’s Latin America practice. He advises high-potential start-up and emerging growth companies primarily from Brazil, Latin America, and Florida in corporate structuring, VC financing rounds, acquisitions, board matters, and exits. A native Brazilian, Hwu advises international companies establishing their operations in the U.S. market.
