ORLANDO - The Rodan and Fields LLC multi-level marketing company was sued in Orange County Circuit Court by a woman who says she went blind from using the defendant's Lash Boost Serum product.

Plaintiff Judy Copeland filed the complaint on April 9; Copeland says she first purchased the Last Boost product from a Rodan and Fields consultant in December 2017.

Copeland used the product until she began to notice eye redness in June 2018. Although she says she stopped using the product, her condition worsened until she suffered severe vision loss and an injury to the eye, the suit claims.

Rodan and Fields is charged with strict liability, negligence and breach of implied warranty of merchantability. The serum's manufacturer, Lifetech Resources LLC, is also named as a defendant in the suit and faces similar charges.

Copeland is represented by Morgan and Morgan PA of Orlando.
