Personal injury suit leveled against Orlando McDonald's after PlayPlace injury

Mcdonalds

ORLANDO - The owners of the McDonald's restaurant at 830 S. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando were slapped with a personal injury lawsuit after a child allegedly was injured in the PlayPlace indoor playground area.

According to documents filed on March 10, the child of plaintiff Tyesha King was in the play area on February 14, 2020, when he was walking up the stairs to the slide. The suit says that a liquid substance not marked with any warning or cautionary signs caused the child to slip and be injured.

Gilchrist Enterprises Inc., owner of the McDonald's, is sued for premises liability and negligence.

King is represented by Morgan and Morgan PA of Orlando.
