Noelle Sheehan (Of Counsel-Orlando) will join a panel on “Cannabis in Healthcare: A New Challenging Frontier for Providers” at the 2020 Crittenden COVID-19 & the State of the Medical Insurance Industry Conference to be held September 21–23, 2020.
This session explores the risks and realities of CBD and cannabis products in the health care environment. Their use presents risk to providers practicing beyond the scope of their license, and to the institutions where they practice. The liability framework of emerging professional liability, products liability and EPL claims also will be discussed.
