Bailey & Glasser LLP issued the following announcement on Sept. 8.

The national law firm Bailey Glasser LLP is proud to announce that Stephen Putnoki-Higgins has joined the firm as an attorney at the firm’s office in St. Petersburg, Florida. Stephen focuses his legal practice on the tax, estate planning, business planning, philanthropic, and estate administration goals of individuals and their families.

With the addition of Stephen, the firm has also formalized its new Estate Planning & Administration Practice. The firm is experienced in the estate planning process from the simplest to the most complex taxable estates as well as managing the administration of estates and assisting fiduciaries and beneficiaries alike through all aspects of the process; including probate, contested estates, tax, and post-mortem estate planning issues.

“I’m excited to join Bailey Glasser and join forces with their talented attorneys,” said Stephen. “I know the intricacies of estate planning, and I’m honored that the firm has entrusted me to lead its Estate Planning and Administration Practice.”

Bailey Glasser’s experience in tax and business issues informs the structure for the estate plans they develop for its clients. The firm understands the law and knows how to structure estate plans that take full advantage of key state and federal laws to meet clients’ needs and goals.

“Coupled with the creation of the Tax Practice, the Estate Planning & Administration Practice is another illustration of the deep, sophisticated legal work we provide to our clients,” said Marc Weintraub, a St. Petersburg, Florida-based partner who heads the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. “I am thrilled that Stephen has joined the firm and I believe that our clients will be well served by his experience, work ethic, and sound judgment.”
