Nelson Mullins Broad and Cassel Partners Joseph Stanton and Michelle Tanzer have been named to Daily Business Review’s 2020 list of Florida Trailblazers.

A partner in the Orlando office, Joseph Stanton has practiced in the areas of public finance, infrastructure and capital projects for more than 25 years. He has been at the forefront of some of the largest public financings in Florida for more than two decades resulting in the creation of major economic drivers. Stanton served as bond counsel on, what was at the time, the largest public finance transaction in Florida ($1.1B) and as bank counsel on one of the largest healthcare syndicated finance transactions in Florida ($1B).
A partner in the Boca Raton office, Michelle Tanzer has built and managed an interesting global law practice in predominately male-dominated industries over the course of her three decades practicing in hospitality and real estate law. She joined Nelson Mullins in September 2019 and was named chair of the firm’s new Global Club and Branded Residences group, a fast-growing segment in the hospitality industry worldwide.
