GREENBERG TRAURIG LLP: Fred E. Karlinsky to participate in “A Tale of Two Tails” Webcast Hosted by Demotech, Inc.

Fred E. Karlinsky, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee offices of international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., will speak as a panelist during “A Tale of Two Tails,” a webinar which is part of the Demotech, Inc. 2020 Storm Season Series led by Joseph Petrelli, CEO of Demotech Inc. Karlinsky will speak on the topic of effectively lobbying state insurance issues.

The webinar, taking place on Tuesday, August 18th from 10:30 am EST to 11:30 am EST, will provide valuable insight on the challenges of advocating for state insurance issues for Florida residential property insurers. Karlinsky is a frequent speaker on insurance-related trends and legislative initiatives for various industry groups.

Karlinsky is co-chair of Greenberg Traurig's Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice and a shareholder in the firm’s Government Law & Policy Practice. He has nearly 30 years of experience representing the interests of insurers, reinsurers, and a wide variety of other insurance-related entities on their regulatory, transactional, corporate, and governmental affairs matters.

Recognized as one of the top insurance lawyers by Chambers and Partners, Karlinsky has extensive knowledge of insurance compliance matters and is a sought-after thought leader who has spoken and presented papers to insurance executives and governmental officials, both nationally and internationally. Karlinsky received a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law, where he teaches a course on Insurance Law and Risk Management. He is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.
