Thomas (T.J.) Ferrante, a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Telemedicine Industry Team and Digital Health Group, will be a speaker at the Health Care Compliance Association’s (HCCA) Orlando Regional Conference on January 31, 2020. His presentation is titled, “Fraud, Compliance and Telehealth.”
Mr. Ferrante will be joined by Su Kim, an Operations Officer with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/Office of Inspector General/Office of Investigations and Brian Martens, an Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services/Office of Inspector General. Together this expert panel will walk through recent nationwide telehealth fraud schemes and trends as well as outlining best practices and necessary legal considerations for successfully implementing and growing a compliant telehealth program.
