Greenberg Traurig LLP issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.
Greenberg Traurig, P.A. Miami Associate Emily M. Wassermann was honored as the inductee speaker at the ceremony for new attorneys held Oct. 2 at the Florida Supreme Court in Tallahassee. The honor is reserved for inductees who received some of the highest scores on the most recent Florida Bar Examination, which was administered in July.
“I was honored to be chosen to address my peers in front of Florida’s highest court as a proud member of Florida’s newest class of lawyers,” said Wassermann, a member of the firm’s Miami Corporate Practice.
Wassermann received her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was in the top one percent of her class and was the recipient of the Lawrence B. Rodgers – M. Minette Massey Scholarship; Bruce J. Winick Award for Academic Excellence; and the Harvey T. Reid Scholarship. She received her B.S. in Economics cum laude from Duke University.
