Generalcourt3

Littler Mendelson P.C. issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.

Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has appointed Jeffrey B. Jones as office managing shareholder (OMS) of the firm’s Miami office, effective as of August 1. He will serve in a dual OMS capacity as he continues to lead the firm’s Orlando office.

“Jeffrey functions in a number of leadership roles at the firm, and we look forward to him taking the helm of the Miami office,” said Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, co-managing directors of Littler, in a joint statement. “He will be instrumental in enhancing the business efforts of both the Miami and Orlando offices, while continuing to grow Littler’s presence throughout Florida and the nation.”

In his practice at Littler, Jones represents employers across a broad spectrum of employment issues, particularly in the areas of discrimination, harassment and preferential treatment laws, including Title VII and the Florida Civil Rights Act. In addition to his OMS roles, he serves on Littler’s Management Committee and is the committee liaison to the Diversity & Inclusion Council, helping to support and guide the firm’s diversity and inclusion strategies. He is also active in the Florida legal community, where he is a member of the National and Orange County Bar Associations.

Jones has been named among The Best Lawyers in America© since 2013 and has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell. He received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law and his B.S. from Florida State University.
