Chelsea Koff and Andrew C. Sharpe, associates at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., have been recognized as 2019 Up & Comers in the Law category by South Florida Business & Wealth (SFBW). Recipients of the award were celebrated at an event on June 12 at Gulfstream Park.

The Up & Comer Awards recognize professionals under the age of 40 who have achieved excellence in their careers, shown a commitment to their community, and demonstrated leadership. The awards are based on nominations by the public and SFBW research.

“It is an honor to be recognized as an achiever in the legal profession by South Florida Business & Wealth,” said Sharpe, who was recognized in the Law – Miami-Dade County category. “I look forward to continuing to serve South Florida’s business community for many years to come.”

Sharpe, an associate in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, represents developers in all aspects of condominium, mixed use, and planned developments. This includes representing clients before the Division of Florida Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, preparation and negotiation of purchase agreements for the sale of pre-construction condominium units, representation of developers at bulk closings and grand openings, and the preparation of condominium documents – including residential, branded residences, conversion, mixed use, commercial and condo-hotel projects.

Koff, an associate in Greenberg Traurig’s Fort Lauderdale office, focuses her practice on litigation and is a firm E-Discovery attorney. Prior to joining the firm, she was an Assistant State Attorney in Broward County, having served as lead trial counsel on more than 30 jury trials and over 50 bench trials.

Active in the Broward County community, Koff is a board member of Friends of the Museum of Discovery and Science, a member of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ Ghostlight Society, and a graduate of Leadership Fort Lauderdale, Class XXV.

“Being recognized as both an attorney and someone who cares about our community is an honor that I am grateful to receive,” said Koff, who was recognized in the Law – Broward County category. “Serving the needs of my clients and supporting the efforts of worthy charitable organizations are top priorities for me."
