Bradley Arant Boult Cummings issued the following announcement on June 11.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Sara D. Accardi, an attorney in the firm’s Tampa office, has been named to the board of directors of Tampa Connection.

“We congratulate Sara on her appointment to the Tampa Connection board of directors and for her ongoing commitment to civic involvement. Sara is helping to develop local leaders and getting them involved in our community in meaningful ways,” said Bradley Tampa Office Managing Partner R. Craig Mayfield.

Founded in 1985, Tampa Connection prepares class members to become active volunteers and leaders in the Tampa Bay community while building professional relationships. Through the program each year, a select number of non-profit organization projects are chosen to receive a dedicated team of professionals that takes full responsibility for the planning and implementation of a project that fulfills an agency need. The selected projects are a valuable component of the Tampa Connection membership experience and are critical to the overall focus of connecting Tampa Bay's executives and professionals to the community.

A member of Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group, Ms. Accardi handles a wide range of commercial, real property and business litigation matters. She represents business and commercial clients in complex litigation in state and federal courts across the country. Her experience includes jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and other pre-suit dispute resolution practices. She also assists clients with government investigations, civil investigative demands, and internal investigations related to a variety of alleged misconduct. Ms. Accardi has handled contested consumer mortgage foreclosure trials for banks and mortgage servicers across Florida. In addition, she has experience handling lender liability claims, lien priority claims, title disputes, and violations of federal and Florida consumer protection statutes.
