BRADLEY ARANT BOULT CUMMINGS: Tara Petzoldt Joins Bradley's Tampa Office as Litigation Associate

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings issued the following announcement on May 17.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Tara M. Petzoldt has joined the firm’s Tampa office as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group.

“We welcome Tara to our Tampa office as we continue to grow our team and further enhance Bradley’s commercial litigation services for clients,” said Bradley Tampa Office Managing Partner R.Craig Mayfield. “Tara’s notable background in financial services matters is of particular value to our clients in the region.”

Ms. Petzoldt represents clients in a variety of litigation matters involving contracts, franchising, investments, torts, financial services, and intellectual property. Her practice also emphasizes fiduciary, trust and probate litigation. She has represented franchisors in contract disputes, enforcement of non-competition agreements and restrictive covenants, actions to protect intellectual property, and other business torts. She represents financial services companies in state and federal litigation and regularly defends financial service providers against various claims. In addition, she defends mortgage lenders, servicers, and other financial services providers against borrower complaints alleging violations of statute statutes, wrongful foreclosures, and debt collection statutes.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Petzoldt was an attorney at Quarles & Brady LLP. She also formerly served as a federal judicial intern for Judge James D. Whittemore of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Petzoldt received her J.D. (magna cum laude) from Stetson University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts (summa cum laude) from the University of South Florida.
