By Press release submission | Apr 9, 2019

Greenberg Traurig LLP issued the following announcement on April 3.

Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. received the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce "Corporate Business of the Year" award during the organization’s Annual Symposium & Business Leaders Luncheon on March 29.

The "Corporate Business of the Year" award is presented to a corporation that supports the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce’s (MDCC) mission to create economic and social transformation for the Miami-Dade County community.

“Supporting organizations that make an impact in the lives of Miami-Dade County’s residents and developing relationships with our business community has been a priority for Greenberg Traurig since our founding 52 years ago," said Jaret L. Davis, Miami office co-managing shareholder, who accepted the award on behalf of the firm. “We appreciate this significant recognition from the Chamber, and are proud of the role that our firm has played in shaping South Florida’s future.”

The Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1974 by a group of black businessmen who saw a need for a strong organization that could objectively advocate for the needs of a growing black business community. The mission of MDCC is to create opportunities for economic and social transformation in the community.
