ORLANDO — An Orange County motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a crash.

Meghan Puskar filed a complaint Feb. 1 in Orange County Circuit Court against Melodie Shekia Hickey, alleging failure to operate her motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, on April 12, 2017, Puskar was operating a motor vehicle on Conway Road near its intersection with Inwood Landing Drive in Orlando when Hickey's car struck the plaintiff's vehicle. Puskar says she sustained bodily injuries and resulting pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment and disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience and loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life.

The plaintiff alleges Hickey negligently operated and/or maintained her motor vehicle so that it collided with Puskar's vehicle.

Puskar seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney Mark R. Ahrens of Todd K. Miner PA in Orlando.
