ORLANDO — An Orange County lender is suing a borrower, alleging breach of a loan agreement in failing to pay back $50,000.

Tammy Kerker filed a complaint Jan. 30 in Orange County Circuit Court against Joseph Darrin Hovater, alleging the borrower failed to perform under the terms of the agreement.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 1, 2018, Kerker loaned Hovater the sum of $50,000. To date, the suit says, Kerker has yet to receive payments for this loan.

Kerker seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, plus interest, attorney fees, court costs and all other proper relief. She is represented by attorney Joseph V. Taormina of Bogin Munns & Munns in Orlando.
