Shareholder Candis Trusty co-hosted the “You be the Judge” probate seminar, which took place on January 23, 2019 in Miami, Florida.
Dade Legal Aid/Put Something Back and the Dade County Bar Association Probate & Guardianship Committee and Young Lawyers Section sponsor this seminar where top probate attorneys describe actual cases and the law and the attendees vote on the outcomes. After the vote, the attorneys advise the attendees the actual outcome and the judges’ reasoning behind the decisions.
Trusty is a member of the firm’s Probate + Guardianship practice group and she concentrates her practice in the areas of elder care, probate, and guardianship law. She is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, is a Florida Super Lawyer, and is a South Florida Legal Guide Top Lawyer. Trusty is the recipient of multiple pro bono service awards and is a recipient of the Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Pro Bono Service from the South Miami Kendall Bar Association.
