CLEARWATER — A lender is suing two borrowers, alleging they owe $195,000 for breach of a promissory note and a security agreement.
Joanne Daskalopoulos filed a complaint Jan. 14 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Dante Guarascio and Barbara Guarascio, alleging they defaulted in paying the payments due under the promissory note.
According to the complaint, on March 1, 2018, the defendants executed and delivered to Daskalopoulos a promissory note in the amount of $195,000 and a security agreement securing payment of the note. To date, the suit says, the said amounts remains due and owing.
The plaintiff alleges Dante Guarascio and Barbara Guarascio have defaulted under the note and security agreement by failing to pay the payments due under the note.
Daskalopoulos seeks trial by jury, foreclosure against the defendants and award for the $195,000, exclusive of interest, attorney fees, court costs and all other just and equitable relief. She is represented by attorney Theo J. Karaphillis of Law Office of Theo J. Karaphillis in Clearwater.
