ORLANDO — A Florida resident is suing Michelle McPeak and Richard McPeak, a vehicle operator and an owner, citing alleged negligence.
Christine B. Robison filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court for Orange County against the defendants alleging that they failed to exercise standard care and skill in the operation of a vehicle.
According to the complaint, Robison alleges that on Jan. 19, 2016, while she was operating her vehicle on in Orange County, Richard McPeak negligently operated the vehicle owned by Michelle S. McPeak so as to collide with his automobile. As a result, he suffered permanent injury to the body, pain and suffering of both a physical and a mental nature, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, aggravation of an existing condition, expense of hospitalization and medical care, loss of earnings and loss of the ability to lead and enjoy a normal life.
The plaintiff holds Michelle S. McPeak and Richard CV McPeak responsible because they allegedly failed to adequately maintain and operate a motor vehicle so as not to cause harm and breached their duty of care.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendants and other such relief deemed proper by the Court. She is represented by Will D. Bates of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
