CLEARWATER — A bank is suing a loan borrower, citing alleged breach of contract.
Regions Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 7 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida-Pinellas County against Hannah J. Petersen alleging that she defaulted on the contract by failing to make payments as agreed.
According to the complaint, on May 4, 2012, Regions Bank executed a promissory note wherein Petersen borrowed $21,207.55 on which she was required to make monthly payments plus one final payment of all outstanding principal, interest and other charges.
However, plaintiff claims defendant Petersen failed to make payment as and when due, resulting in default of payment.
The plaintiff holds Hannah J. Petersen responsible because she allegedly breached the terms of the contract by failing to make payments or when due.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for sums owed under the contract, plus attorneys' fees, expenses, pre-judgment interest, court costs, finance charges and such other and further relief as the Court deems just and proper. It is represented by Paul W. Burke of Drew Eckl & Farnham, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia.
