CLEARWATER — A vehicle driver is suing a motorist, citing alleged negligence.
Brisilda Koci filed a complaint on Jan. 7 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida-Pinellas County against Giovanna Diberardinio alleging that she breached her lawful duty to operate her vehicle in a safe manner.
According to the complaint, on July 29, 2017, Koci was operating her motor vehicle when she was allegedly struck by Diberardino's vehicle, causing injuries.
As a result, Koci claims, she sustained significant and permanent injuries that needed hospitalization, causing her to incur medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Diberardino responsible because she allegedly was negligent in the operation of her vehicle, causing it to collide with Koci's vehicle, causing injuries.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages, costs, interest and such other relief as the Court deems just and proper. She is represented by Philip Judd Slotnick of Burnetti, PA in Tampa.
