ORLANDO — A consumer is suing BMW of North America, LLC, an automobile manufacturer, citing alleged breach of warranty.
Mailing Vukadinovic filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida-Orange County against BMW of North America, LLC alleging that it violated the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 27, 2018, Vukadinovic purchased a used 2015 BMW i8 from the defendant's authorized seller for $124,099.44. Shortly after taking possession of the vehicle, he experienced numerous defects with the vehicle that substantially impaired its use, value and safety.
The plaintiff holds BMW of North America, LLC responsible because it allegedly failed to adequately repair the defects to the BMW i8 to conform it with its warranties.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, costs and attorney's fees and such other and further relief deemed just and appropriate. He is represented by Brent Wikgren of Krohn & Moss, Ltd. in Chicago.
