CLEARWATER — An insured motorist is suing State Farm, alleging breach of an insurance policy after a crash.

Alexis Marie Zullo, now known as  Alexis Marie Plumley, filed a complaint Dec. 21 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, alleging failure to perform under the terms of the policy.

According to the complaint, on March 23, 2015, during the policy period, Plumley was involved in automobile collision with uninsured 1992 Toyota driven by Nicole Ulloa on Old Coachman Road in Pinellas County. The suit says Plumley sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish and other damages. The plaintiff alleges State Farm has failed to pay her claim for damages.

Plumley seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney Nicholas L. Ottaviano of Lucas & Magazine PLLC in New Port Ritchey.
