Motorist alleges another driver's negligence caused Orlando crash

ORLANDO — An Orange County motorist is suing a construction company and one of its drivers, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Nicole Wider filed a complaint Dec. 20 in Orange County Circuit Court against Tomas Estrada and Bender Construction Company LLC, alleging the defendants failed to maintain, entrust and operate vehicle in a reasonably safe manner.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 14, 2016, Wider was operating a motor vehicle on Ococe Apopka Road near the intersection of Fullers Cross in Orlando when she was struck by a Bender Construction vehicle driven by Estrada.. Wider says she suffered bodily injuries, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, aggravation of an existing condition and the expense of hospitalization. 

The plaintiff alleges Estrada and Bender Construction negligently operated and/or maintained the motor vehicle so that it collided with Wider's car.

Wider seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000 and all other proper relief.  She is represented by attorney Lawrence Gonzalez II of Morgan & Morgan, PA in Orlando.
