ORLANDO — An Orlando woman is suing a driver, alleging his negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Gloria Garrett filed a complaint Dec. 20 in Orange County Circuit Court against Wilders Sybrun, alleging the driver failed to operate his vehicle in a reasonably safe manner.

According to the complaint, on Oct.10, 2017, Garrett was involved in an accident near the intersection of Rio Grande Avenue and Holden Avenue in Orange County when her vehicle was crashed into by a 2008 Nissan driven by Syburn. The suit says Garrett sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disfigurement, mental anguish, aggravation of a previous existing condition and loss of the ability to earn money.

The plaintiff alleges Sybrun negligently and carelessly operated and/or maintained his Nissan so that it collided with the Garrett's vehicle.

Garrett seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs, attorney fees and all proper relief. She is represented by attorney Michael T. Gibson of Orlando.
