CLEARWATER — A Tarpon Springs motorist is suing a vehicle owner and a driver, alleging their negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Carol J. Flanders filed a complaint Dec. 19 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Bryan J. Leduc and Bright House Networks LLC, alleging Bright House negligently entrusted its vehicle to Leduc.

According to the complaint, on May 11, 2016, Flanders was involved in an automobile accident with defendants' vehicle on Gulf Road in Tarpon Springs. The suit says Leduc, who was driving a Bright House Networks Vehicle, failed to stop and crashed into the rear of Flanders' car. She says she sustained permanent personal injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement and mental anguish, plus expenses for medical and nursing care and treatment.

The plaintiff alleges Leduc failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to stop and control his vehicle before it collided into the rear of Faldners' automobile.

Flanders seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs and attorney fees, plus all other just relief. She is represented by attorney Afram Malki of The Malki Law Offices PA in Tampa.
