CLEARWATER — A motorist is suing a vehicle driver and owner, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

De'Shard Killens filed a complaint Dec. 10 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Anita Rogowski and Jerzy Rogowski, alleging they negligently operated or maintained a motor vehicle, causing it collide with the plaintiff’s vehicle.

According to the complaint, on July 21, 2017, Killens was injured in an auto collision in Pinellas County because Anita Rogowski carelessly caused the Rogowskis' vehicle to collide with the plaintiff’s car. Killens says he sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, lost wages and hospitalization and medical expenses.

Killens seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, court costs and interest. He is represented by attorney Brad Salter of Salter Healy LLC in St. Petersburg.
