Property owners sue insurance company, citing failure to pay for all their covered losses

CLEARWATER — Property owners are suing American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida, citing alleged breach of contract.

Braden Poole and Terri Poole filed a complaint on Dec. 10 in the Sixth Circuit Court - Pinellas against American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida alleging that the it failed to pay for all of their losses.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that their St. Petersburg property was insured by the defendant when it sustained a covered loss due to water damage. They notified the defendant about the damages and were assigned a claim number. They hold American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida responsible because it allegedly has failed to provide coverage for certain of the plaintiffs’ losses, which is a material breach of contract.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for all losses with interest on any overdue payments, any incidental and foreseeable consequential damages plus attorney's fees and costs. They are represented by Morgan Vasigh of Morgan & Morgan PA in Tampa.
