Car accident 30

ORLANDO — An Orange County resident is suing DF Carrier LLC and Teddy Terel Mitchell, citing alleged negligence and vicarious liability.

Ja Quan Dorsett filed a complaint on Dec. 5 in the Circuit Court of the Ninth Judicial Circuit-Orange County against the defendants, alleging that they damaged the plaintiff's vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 29 the plaintiff's vehicle was negligently struck by Mitchell on I-4 westbound at or near Fairbanks Avenue in Winter Park. The plaintiff holds DF Carrier LLC and Teddy Terel Mitchell responsible because the company was allegedly vicariously liable for the negligence of Mitchell under the Respondent Superior Doctrine.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages and other relief the court may find just and proper. Dorsett is represented by Joseph H. Shaughnessy of Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Orlando.
