Lender alleges business borrower owes $177,500

ORLANDO — An Orange County woman is suing a borrower, alleging breach of contract.

Apexa Patel filed a complaint Dec. 6, in Orange County Circuit Court against Ketan Patel, also known as Kevin Patel, alleging failure to pay back $177,500. 

According to the complaint, Apexa Patel suffered monetary damages as a result of the wrongful conduct of the defendant. The suit says Ketan Patel has failed to pay the plaintiff the $177,500 that was loaned to invest in the business and real estate at 7501 University Blvd., Winter Park, also known as Mona's Minimart LLC. 

The plaintiff alleges Ketan Patel has failed to tender payment of the sums owed following Apexa Patel's demand, and obligated the plaintiff to retain an attorney to prosecute legal action.

Apexa Patel seeks trial by jury, damages of $177,500, costs of suit, attorney fees, plus interest and all other just relief. She is represented by Ryan Mitchell of The Law Office of Ryan Mitchell in Orlando.
