CLEARWATER - — A Pinellas County roofing contractor is suing a Tarpon Springs customer, alleging breach of contract.
George Kontos Roofing Inc. filed a complaint Dec. 4,in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Irene Koulianos, alleging failure to pay the outstanding contract balance of more than $16,000.
According to the complaint, Kontos Roofing performed all the requirements of the contract to improve Koulianos' properties at 434 and 438 Athens Str., Tarpon Springs, on an open account agreement. As of the filing of this complaint, the suit says, the principal balance of $16,554.20 remains due and owing.
The plaintiff alleges Koulianos has failed and refuses to pay the principal balance due on the contract.
George Kontos Roofing seeks trial by jury, damages of $16,554.20, exclusive of interest and attorney fees, plus all other appropriate remedies. It is represented by attorney Steven N. Tsangaris of Tsangaris Law Group PL in Tarpon Springs.
