CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County resident is suing Tony Jordan and Justin Jordan, Pasco County residents, citing alleged negligence and dangerous instrumentality.
Marissa Snow filed a complaint on Dec. 4 in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County against the defendants alleging that Justin Jordan struck her motor vehicle.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 28, 2017, Tony Jordan was driving Justin Jordan's motorcycle at or near the intersection of Gulf to Bay Boulevard and Duncan Avenue in Clearwater when he negligently collided with Snow's motor vehicle. Snow sustained injuries that include permanent body injury and other losses that are either permanent or continuing, and she will suffer the losses in the future. The plaintiff holds Tony Jordan and Justin Jordan responsible because Tony Jordan allegedly breached his duty to operate the motorcycle with reasonable care and due regard for the safety of others, and Justin Jordan is responsible for any damages and injuries that result from any negligence of Tony Jordan in the operation of the motor vehicle.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an amount in excess of $15,000 and other damages, costs, pre-judgment interest and any other relief the court deems appropriate. She is represented by A. Crosby Crane of Morgan & Morgan, Tampa, P.A. in St. Petersburgh.
