CLEARWATER — A Broward County woman is suing a St. Petersburg hotel, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Dacia Cabo filed a complaint Dec. 3 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Kokomo MHP Inc., the Hollander Hotel LLC and Ronald Kobernick,, alleging failure to maintain the common areas of their property in a reasonably safe and proper condition.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 30, 2017, Cabo was a patron at the Hollander Hotel, 421 4th Ave. N., St. Petersburg when she fell in the parking area across the street and was injured. Cabo says she has sustained pain and suffering, disability, scarring, mental anguish and lost wages.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants carelessly maintained their parking lot in a poorly lit and poorly maintained area and failed to warn invitees of the existing dangerous condition.

Cabo seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney Leslie D. Glenn of Leslie Duberstein Glenn in Boca Raton.
