ORLANDO — A roofing company is suing a former employee and a competitor, alleging breach of an employment agreement.

Jasper Contractors Inc. filed a complaint Nov. 29 in Orange County Circuit Court against Spencer Eldredge and The Roof Depot Inc. alleging tortious interference with an advantageous business relationship.

According to the complaint, Jasper Contractors will continue to suffer monetary damages unless and until the defendants are restrained by the court.

The plaintiff alleges Eldredge, a former account manager with Jasper, and The Roof Depot converted Japser's customers who had already signed roof-replacement contracts with the plaintiff and subsequently installed the roof in one or more of these customers.

Jasper Contractors seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, court costs and attorney fees. It is represented by attorneys Jeremy M. Paul and Michael Fox Orr of Dawson Orr in Jacksonville.
