ORLANDO — A visitor is suing Walt Disney Parks, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Ricki Wickman filed a complaint Nov. 29 in Orange County Circuit Court against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts US Inc., alleging failure to follow applicable safety guidelines and regulations.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 3, 2014, Wickman was at the defendant's Disney All-Star Sports Resort in Orange County. The suit says Wickman fell due to water, mud and debris from a broken sprinkler on the sidewalk. As a result of Disney's carelessness, Wickman says, she sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, medical treatment and loss of earnings.

Wickman alleges Walt Disney Parks and Resorts failed to properly inspect the property, failed to maintain its sidewalk to correct the dangerous condition and failed to warn invitees of the existence of the dangerous condition.

Wickman seeks trial by jury and damages in excess of $15,000. She is represented by attorney David R. Heil of Winter Park.
