Bank alleges Orange County customer owes more than $22,000

ORLANDO — A bank is suing an Orange County woman, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

American Express National Bank, formerly known as  American Express Centurion Bank, filed a complaint Nov. 29 in Orange County Circuit Court against Jessica Torres. alleging she failed to pay more than $22,000 that is due and owing.

According to the complaint, American Express National Bank had a business transaction with Torres wherein the bank agreed to provide money in which the defendant agreed to pay back the loan. However, despite demands, Torres allegedly owes $22,586.06. 

The plaintiff alleges Torres has failed to pay $22,586.08 that is due with interest since Sept. 20..

American Express National Bank seeks trial by jury, damages of $22,586.08, together with court costs and all other reasonable relief. It is represented by attorney Scott E. Modlin of Modlin Slinsky, PA in Sunrise.
