CLEARWATER — A motorist is suing Paula J. Weigel, a driver, citing alleged negligence.

Feta Cole filed a complaint on Nov. 27 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida-Pinellas County against Paula J. Weigel alleging that the driver breached her duty to exercise reasonable care in operating a motor vehicle.

According to the complaint, Cole alleges that on May 2, 2018, she was injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 4th Street North in St. Petersburg. She sustained bodily injuries resulting in pain and suffering, disability, scarring and disfigurement, mental anguish, and medical care and treatment expenses. Cole holds Weigel responsible because she allegedly negligently operated her vehicle so that it collided with Cole's.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of $15,000, interest and costs, and all issues triable. She is represented by E. Lynn Gibbons of Jorgensen & Gibbons, PA in St. Petersburg.
