ORLANDO — A business customer is suing Orlando airport facility operators, alleging negligence caused injuries to the plaintiff.

Angela Crispo-Doherty filed a complaint Nov. 20 in Orange County Circuit Court against Flagship Facility Services Inc. and Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, alleging failure to keep and maintain Orlando International Airport's premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 28, 2017, Crispo-Doherty slipped and fell on the puddle of liquid inside the women's restroom at Orlando International Airport. The suit says she sustained injuries, resulting in disability, disfigurement, scarring, pain and suffering, lost wages and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Flagship Facility Services and Greater Orlando Aviation Authority negligently permitted a puddle of liquid to accumulate on the floor inside the airport's women's restroom and failed to provide adequate warnings of the unsafe, dangerous and hazardous condition.

Crispo-Doherty seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, exclusive of costs, interest, and fees. She is represented by attorney Nicholas S. Gurney of Newsome Melton in Orlando.
